New Protection Feature for Video Materials: Watermarks and Digital Fingerprints
11.07.2016
Now all users of SFContent.com can protect their video content with a new unique feature - watermarks and digital fingerprints.
What is the digital fingerprints?
A digital fingerprint is a unique identifier of a user who works with protected files. SFContent.com uses an activated serial number as a fingerprint. This serial number is displayed in the screen according to the settings selected by the publisher. You can also use text as a watermark.
What is the point?
Besides program grabbers there are special hardware boards for video capture and it is possible to record video from the screen with a regular camera. Watermarks and digital fingerprints are designed to protect publishers and authors from uncontrolled copying of their intellectual property, and in case of violations, the fingerprint will help to detect the source of the leak.
